Abstract Objective To investigate the effect of the “three-phase quantative adjustment” rehabilitation program in postoperative rehabilitation of intercondylar fractures of humeral.Methods The clinical therapeutic effects of 60 patients with humeral intercondylar fractures treated in the affiliated hospital of Shandong university of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2015 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed.They were divided into two groups according to different postoperative rehabilitation methods.There were 30 patients in the AO group,including 12 males and 18 females.The age range from 21 to 80 years old,with an average age of (55.30±17.69) years.There were 12 cases of type C1,10 cases of type C2,and 8 cases of type C3,using the traditional early painless rehabilitation method of the association for the study of internal fixation (AO/ASIF) for postoperative rehabilitation.The patients who underwent postoperative rehabilitation using the “three-phase quantitative change” rehabilitation program were divided into three-phase quantitative change group,with a total of 30 patients,including 14 males and 16 females.The age ranged from 22 to 80 years old,with an average age of (51.50±19.64) years.There were 11 cases of type C1,10 cases of type C2,and 9 cases of type C3.The Mayo elbow-performance score and forearm rotation angle were compared between the two groups 1 year after operation.Results The Mayo elbow-performance score and elbow flexion and extension rotation in the three-phase quantitative change group were significantly better than those in the AO group (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in stability between the two groups (P>0.05).The excellent and good rate in the three-phase quantitative change group was significantly higher than that in the AO group (P<0.05).Conclusion The “three-phase quantitative change” rehabilitation program is obviously better than the traditional early painless rehabilitation program of AO,and has a good clinical application effect.
