Abstract Abstract：With the origin and development of Ilizarov technology，the subject of limb deformity correction and function reconstruction is emerging in the world，more and more doctors and scholars are interested in this new filed，which puts forward high requirement for the teaching and training of Ilizarov technology.From February 2014 to the end of 2019，20 training courses were hold by China branch of International Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Society and Professional committee of External Fixation and Limb Reconstruction of Chinese Association Orthopedic Surgeon in Beijing，Shanghai and Shenzhen city respectively.Rich experience has been accumulated in teaching&training of 403 students who took part in a total of 20 times of training courses.Emphasis and difficulty of Ilizarov technique has been cleared in preparing high-quality plans for the course.The strategy，curriculum，methods and professors for training & teaching solidified gradually according to the topic selected in each course.Through the systematic teaching of high-quality theory and workshop，students in course could made a qualitative leap in subject cognition，technical concept and clinical thinking of Ilizarov technique，external fixation and limb reconstruction in a short period.
