Abstract:Objective To discuss the clinical results of arthroscopy-assisted Tight Rope fixation in the treatment of Neer Ⅱ clavicle fracture. Methods Twenty-four patients with Neer II clavicle fracture were treated surgically using arthroscopy-assisted Tight Rope fixation in our hospital. The the shoulder joint function were assessed using the rating scale of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) at the last follow-up.Results There were 24 patients, including 13 male and 11 female. The patients aged from 32 to 65 (52.7±10.3).All patients were followed up,and the follow-up time was 11 months to 32 months (20.0±5.7)months.All factures healed. And the average time of healing was (3.4±0.7)months.During the procedures,SLAP injury was found in 2 patients and Bankart injury was found in 1 patient. The injuries were repaired before the fracture fixation. The average score of ASES after the operations was (90.6±6.9)(77 to 100).Conclusion Arthroscopy-assisted Tight Rope fixation repairs of Neer Ⅱ clavicle fracture results in many good clinical outcomes, such as smaller injury, better clinical effect, less influence on the movement of shoulder joint,no explantation needed and less invasive treatment of the intra-articular injury. The arthroscopyassisted Tight Rope fixation is a good choice to treat the Neer Ⅱ clavicle fracture in the future.
